Opened in 2004, the award winning Laurels Healthy Living Centre represented a significant step up in the quality of health care facilities available in the area for users and providers alike. The Laurels provides purpose built, state of the art surgery space for two existing GP practices and space for a new GP practice which has provided 2631 GP places for local residents who previously had no GP. In addition to this it provided facilities for health visitors, speech therapists and district nurses.

Health Link was commissioned by NHS Haringey to plan and facilitate two consultation events for patients and the public to establish views on services for a GP led health centre in Haringey.
